Coming out of the deep freeze... snow and ice is about gone... tonight we stay in the 30's F so i'll get a good night sleep tonight...last night low was 20 F so got up and ran faucets a couple times... tonight i can sleep like a babe.. .lol
Porcupines are in the oven... haven't made that in ages but it will be good with some spaghetti noodles.. I hope i got it right... i tend to make adjustments to the recipes without noting it down... sigh...
They adjusted the rules for the Stock Show Art Competition... they just now reposted the 'new version'... and i can't find one thing different... sigh ... I don't have much to enter this year... maybe the 'Magic Beans' just for giggles... I want to participate because my GrandLittle wants to.. :) I really hope to get and keep them involved.. Dear Deb, I'm so glad the intense cold has finally subsided. It was so cold here in Austria too, but luckily we're experiencing a thaw now. I have no idea if winter will return.

Now I have to ask you a question from a foreigner: You eat porcupines? Really? Or is that a nickname for a completely different dish—like how we have "baked mice" that are made entirely of yeast dough...?

Rose i'm not sure if you will come back here to check.. but if you do... ' Porcupines are basically meatballs ( i make mine out of ground turkey) that rice has been added... that gives it its Porcupine name...lol' I would love to see your Mice! Hugs! deb
