Good Morning !!! I'm sitting here having my coffee ..... caramel macchiato ... I have my big , green , comfy , long sweatshirt on, old , holes in the knees , work around the house jeans on... Its 50 something degrees outside, misty rain... cloudy AND its the end of April in Texas... LOVIN' it!! Ofcourse its making my weeds/grass grow but i'm choosing to ignore that fact this morning..
We had Chinese Buffet this week... and i just love the two dragon statues they have out front.. For a long time they had large fabric bows tied around each one that were faded and ratty looking . Just recently they finally took them off and you can see the statues in all they're glory!
Even before the rain arrived the Octatillo around town knew it was coming.. Normally they just look like brown sticks... But let there be a little moisture in the air... even just a rise in the humidity level and they let you know.. green leaves sprout and the most lovely orange flowers... I want to draw/paint my version of this ... stay tuned.. Right now i'm painting plates... show you next time.. Thank you for stopping by and if you leave a comment i double thank you!! :) Hugs! deb

Rainy days are the perfect days for creating. It's chilly this morning. I'm wearing sweatpants (no holes in the knees), tee shirt, and a Sherpa lined zip up hoodie (easy on easy off for hot flashes) and working on the idea for a new class to teach.

I did read yesterday in an email newsletter for the lake area that my city had two tornadoes with lots of damages-so thankful we got missed in my area.
