T stands for Waterlilies and New Projects

Hello fellow Tpartiers!! I'm so glad you came to visit from Bleubeard and Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday T party!! I have held onto these waterlily photos since last Summer and i thought Spring had sprung enough that i might share them... Isn't that a gorgeous purple ?  and do you see that teeny tiny dragonfly? To be honest i didn't see it until i loaded it on here...lol

Some of these came out SSOOooo pretty!

i think the yellow really POPS!
And the two toned lilypads were really               spectacular!   I'm sure i'll have another              photo session to share this year!!

Hubby finished his HUGE bookshelf! And we managed to get it in the house just the two of us! Whew!~  Now our bedroom looks FULL... lol

I've started staining the Coat Rack... Its taking MANY coats of a gel stain i decided to use.. I'm staining each tree a different color or at least no two trees next to each other the same color.. hopefully you'll be able to tell in the end..

And i started playing around with a new canvas.. just something fun..
So Cheers everyone! Hope you've had a great week!  I just love how the sun lights up this iced tea.. I'll be around to visit everyone ! Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb

  3. You didn’t say if the waterlilies grow in the wild or if they are cultivated. I’ve seen both — in Michigan the cultivated water lilies can be many colored but the wild ones are either yellow or white. Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania also has gorgeous ones.

  4. Beautiful waterlilies. That bookcase is awesome. It looks like you have a lot of space to fill up now. The trees --can hardly wait to see that finished. And a new art project. You are always busy creating. :) :)

  5. These water lilies are amazing. I had to look THREE times until I found that tiny dragonfly. When I lived in MO, there was a pond near where I worked that had water lilies. At the time, I had sunk an old bathtub in my back yard and added goldfish and a plecostomus that kept the tub clean. One day I stopped at the farm and asked if I could buy three lilies in their pond. The lady laughed and told me if I was willing to get them myself, I could take as many as I wanted. She warned they would multiply quickly. I truly enjoyed the ones I removed and put in my bathtub. I am sure you felt the same when you took photos of these beauties last year.

Nice work on that bookcase and I'm really loving how you are staining that coat rack. PLEASE tell me this is for your home and you aren't going to sell it.

It's already a nice canvas. Never too early to prepare for next year's entries.

Iced tea is great on a warm day. Here it's either freezing or in the 80s. No wonder everyone I know is sick. Thanks for sharing your lovely water lilies, your new bookcase, and your lovely coat rack with us, as well as your iced tea for T this Tuesday, dear Deb.

  7. Those water lilies are gorgeous Deb. You definitely need to go back this year and get photos. And very nice book case too. I bet it's really sturdy too. My husband built me "book"shelves to put my craft supplies on and they are sturdy. And I think your coat rack looks amazing so far. The work is worth it, but I agree with Elizabeth, I hope you aren't selling it. It's much too pretty for that. I hope you're having a wonderful T day. hugs-Erika

  10. The waterlilies are stunning, no wonder you took many pictures of them, I would have done the same. one pond around here that has waterlilies also has a resident bullfrog, and I love to hear him. He's hiding among the lilypads and is very hard to see though.
