Is It Obvious.............

........ that i had nothing planned for Food Wednesday? Or that what i did have planned fell through... ? I planned on taking pictures of the food booths at the Rodeo Carnival...........well just..... well... so... you are looking at a picture of my morning oatmeal... not in the picture is some cinnamon thats on there too... I eat this a couple times a week along with my morning coffee... What are you having for breakfast? My favorite breakfast? I'd rather be at IHOP restaurant.. 2 eggs over medium, 2 strips of bacon, 2 harvest grain pancakes with sugar free syrup.... and coffee served to me cup after cup (or as long as i can get my husband to sit there.)........aaahhhh... that may have to happen soon... Hope your having a great day!! Hugs! deb

  1. Good morning Deb, I love oatmeal and usually make it for myself a few times a month. I have to their gluten free version and cook it up with different dried fruits.
we used to love going out for a big breakfast-could get lots of food for less than getting lunch out usually and we both love breakfast foods too.
Sunny and warm today after t storms last night. Happy Food Wednesdays

  2. Oatmeal for breakfast is okay, but nothing beats going out for breakfast. Food served to you hot and no cooking or doing dishes.

  4. Smile:). I have oatmeal most every morning in the cold months. Then I switch to an all bran cereal with almond milk so I don't get too bored;)

  5. Hi Deb - your oatmeal looks good. I usually have bread for breakfast - sometimes whole grain toast, sometimes hearty dark whole grain with buter and cheese - and coffee of course!

  6. Usually I have a milk based breakfast shake, but I love breakfast any time of day. I often have oatmeal with dried fruit or apples and nuts for lunch as it's pretty quick to make. But if I'm having a big breakfast I either do hash, and omelet or pancakes/waffles with fruit. I think I need a big breakfast soon now that you have me thinking of it. Smile. hugs-Erika

  7. good morning, that all sounds really good right now, my husband and I are on a healthy diet that calls for oatmeal twice a week. I like that there are several different options and oatmeal is one. I also find the whole grain cereal is good too. flaxseed and exercise are not my friends yet. I lean toward low carbs best so bacon and eggs are my sounding good. Whole grain bread 1 slice. deb, I do like a coffee once in a while. have a great day to all.

  8. I bought some of those oatmeal packets once. I used so few of them, they went bad on me. Bugs got into them. I like oatmeal, but not those packets. Yours sure looks good. I hope you get to IHOP soon, too (grin).
