T stands for .. Let's Go To The Ranch!

But before we go to the Ranch let me show you the beautiful napkins i received in the Swap!  I can't wait to use these in some kind of artsy/craftsy way.

And lets not forget the beautiful ATC cards i received.. Top Row L-R  from Jo and Elizabeth'

Bottom Row L-R  from Sharon and then the one i made...  Thank you Elizabeth and Sharon for all your hard work to make this happen.. I almost forgot this was napkin reveal day!!

Well hello there cutie!!! I've mentioned helping a friend at his Ranch on here before and on one of those trips i took a few photos...

At the time there were babies everywhere... I felt like i was babysitting as the Mama's were off eating and all the babies were at the watering hole..

                              Adorable....

There was an old bus out there too... And if i remember right Elizabeth our wonderful host loves some rust...

Must have been pretty back in the day..

And finally i'll leave you with my tea... A recycled photo but i did have some from the same place today...

I'm off to golf this T Tuesday so my visits may be a little sporadic and spread out but i will visit everyone!! Hope you enjoyed the visit to the Ranch! Happy T day! Hugs! deb

  2. We had a photo instructor who loved to take pics of old rusty wrecks, and your photos reminded me of him. He also taught us a lot of good things, but I never quite went along with the rust. I do like your baby animals.

  3. If I was there, I would wet an old sheet and fold it over the top of that old bus. What a joy and whole cloth quilt that would make. I LOVE IT!!

So glad you got your napkins and you like them. They actually flattened quite nicely.

Those baby cows looked like they were in need of loving care. I hope they are doing well.

Thanks for sharing your napkins, ATCs, trip to the ranch, the rusty bus, and your iced tea with us for T this almost Tuesday, dear Deb.

  6. It will be fun to see what you create with the beautiful napkins. Very cool ATCs, too. Awww, the Ranch or Farm puppies (baby cows) are too cute

  7. I love cows, thanks for sharing that! I think I can see two of my napkins in the above photo, the one with the silver snowflakes and possibly one with a hare on it on the bottom row - I can't see the hare but I think it looks like the one I sent. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

  8. I do love ranches. When I was a child I often accompanied my dad, who was a veterinarian, on his visits to the ranches. Why do they have an old bus? Do they use it for anything? Happy T day!

  9. Good evening, I enjoyed the trip to the ranch-sweet babies. ahhh rust dye heaven-one could get some great results from that old bus. I did that years ago when I first retired and was exploring dye techniques. very fun.
    Your ice teas looks perfect.

  12. You asked about how I adhere napkins. I use a glue stick on the substrate, not the napkin. I have tried the Saran wrap and it was a BUST! I never got it to work for me. My favorite is Pellon (aka Wonder Under). I iron the napkin to the Pellon and remove the fused napkin right before I use it. Here is a tutorial I wrote where I showed how to adhere napkins to Pellon, cling wrap (which was a bust), and freezer paper:

My favorite is Pellon, of course. I hope this helps answer your questions.

  13. Hello Deb,
the calves are adorable <3<3<3 - I'm always happy when I see farm critters anyway - and I really like the rusty bus too. (My blog name is "Rostrose", that means rusty rose ;-))
Thank you for your message! You wrote me that you would love to look at my photos and activities if only it was in smaller pieces.. I can understand you. But I only post once a week and always have so much to tell and show that it's the only way I can manage it, sorry... (Some of my readers see my posts as a magazine they flip through over and over again for a week read...)
    All the best from Austria,
    Traude

  14. I grew up on a farm and we had cows and horses, a couple of work horses that we also rode and some horses' dad kept just for us to ride. Calves are the cutest. Love your napkins and can't wait to see what you create with them. Our dollar store used to sell napkins with nice designs and I picked up a few but they quit carrying them.
