T stands for the Little Things....

I made it to another T party!!!  How is everyone? We've been HOT. Up over 100 F every day... The only good time to do anything is early in the morning... and i'am so NOT an early person.. I'm more of a night owl.. But i have to change my 'evil' ways in the Summer... lol So my butt is dragging.. I still try to maintain my night owl status but then i have to get up early..... yawn!

I did find a little thing at a flea market we visited one morning..  He's just adorable with his little ruby eyes... He cleaned up so nice after i brought him home.. No label or any identifying marks... but i will enjoy wearing him..

Even golf has happened early one morning just after daybreak.  I found this sign at Hobby Lobby and just had to get it for hubby.. it is so so true...lol I hope you've been well and i'll be around to visit. See you soon! Hugs! deb

  1. I do the same-we are getting up early during this heat, but then I end up staying up too late-we are early morning people though.

  2. Night owl here, too. It does get cooler in the very late hours, though, too...but thar doesn't help for doing outside work. Good thing I don't have to take care of a yard--lol!
Cute little mouse pin. Pretty blue glass. I don't know if I would ever be outside with it over 100 every day. Whew!
I got your letter and we will be having a good long paper chat soon, my friend. ;) Have a great week and stay cool!! :)

  4. Years ago I had several mouse pins (they were too informal to call them brooches) — yours looks familiar and fun. I hope your heat wave, along with all the other weather disasters, will soon be over, but there’s not much hope for a return to normal. We can’t wish it away, we created it now we have to live with it.

  5. Oh, that is just my weather that you´ve got. Here it´s 80F, which is only "OK"...
That really is a cutie-pie you got there!
Golfing is very expensive over here (and to be honest I don´t care, LOL).
    Have a great T-day, hugs

  6. Your mouse pin is adorable. I can see that attached to a ferret wrap like they wore in the 20's.
Hobby Lobby has some great decor, don't they? We have one now and I love just browsing.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  7. Your little pin is so cute. It's been hot, humid, and rainy here for what seems like forever. Today some sun. Our heat isn't anywhere near triple digits. I hope there's some relief in sight for you soon. Just so you can go back to your evil ways. 😈Happy T Day

  8. I wish we could trade weather for a week or two. It is cooler than normal here with no rain and more wind. I'm not a night owl but I do get up around 4AM to start my day. It's quiet and I get a lot done before Mr. M. gets up. I like your flea market find and belive it or not we watch gold on TV. LOL

  9. I'm like you: a night owl and i hate getting up early. Here it is also very hot. Today was 104F! I just keep all my windows and shutters closed so the hot air stays outside. At night I open everything up so cooler air can flow through the house.
I'm not a golfer but my sister and her hubby are. I'll show her that 'notice'.
    Happy T Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  11. I am a true night owl. I am up all night and go to bed just after I water my herbs every morning around 6:30 to 7 a.m. I get up around 11 a.m., then go back to bed around 2 p.m. when it gets hot in the house. I try not to turn on the AC until around 1ish because the bill is out of sight and going up again next month, according to our electric company. It is supposed to be 110 F heat index here tomorrow, so I will probably be turning the AC on in my office and sleep there. Thankfully, I have no one to answer to but the cats who don't seem to mind my hours.

I loved that sign you found at Hobby Lobby. So cute. Speaking of cute, that little mouse is definitely a cutie. I know you will enjoy wearing it.

Thanks for sharing your lovely pin, your new sign, and your Cherry Coke with us for T this Tuesday, dear Deb. That zero sugar Coke looks very refreshing, too.

  12. 100+ F every day is just too much - and I assume it is also humid where you live? That's a very bad combination. It's 88 here and I have drawn all the curtains to keep the house cool (we don't have AC). Your little mouse pin is very cute. Happy T day!

  13. I am definitely more of a morning person, but teaching school that started at 7:30 AM for 35 years will do that for you. I must admit I slump in the early afternoon; I just have no energy then. It's "funny" how we each have our body clocks. We've been warm too, but nothing like your hot. Stay cool Deb. Sorry for being late to T too. That mouse is adorable, have fun wearing it. Happy rest of your week. hugs-Erika

  14. It was about 100F here for a few days as well. But this is Canada, we are not used to 100F weather.... and it was so humid! Yuck. "I love the heat, but not the humidly." That's the most said statement around here in the summer.
