..... crazy about bees! Believe it or not i found this sign at the entrance to my bank. You know i LOVED it.. :)
Hubby has been working on a project for me!!! To help me store my craft paints. They will hang on the wall most of the time but can be taken off the wall and set on a table.. My daughter has found some ceramic bees at Target that i can put around them... Yes they are feeding my obsession... lol
They have all been handed over to me to stain. There are 6 total... Do i have that much paint? Well.... almost.. there will be some empty holes to fill...lol How nice it will be not to have to dig around for the color i want!
Just a few more to go!
Starbucks offered me a half price cold drink and i couldn't say no.. This is a Pineapple/Passion fruit frozen lemonade for Elizabeth's T Party... and it was Yum! First cold drink i've had from Starbucks. I always get my caramel macchiato coffee there on special occasions..
Still hot here and dry... cutting down some Sunflowers this week... they are just past there 'sell by date' and looking a little rough...They grew in a place i cannot easily water. Hugs! deb
What an awesome way to organize your paints. The honeycombs are going to look amazing when they are finished. Pineapple passion fruit frozen lemonade sounds good. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteI Love your bee hives to store your paints-very clever of you guys. Your drink sounds delicious too-we are in lots of rain mode here so I am way behind on outdoor work-hot and humid too so we have been stuck in the house-happy new week hugs
ReplyDeleteThose paint hive are soooo clever! Can hardly wait to see them full of color!
ReplyDeleteYes, a bee sign would not be missed by you. Really cute!
I've never had a cold drink from Starbucks, either. Haven't even had a hot one for years, but they were good! :) That looks like the best thing to have dripping in your hand on a hot day.
What a cool storage idea! They know how to make a hit with you :) I'm never at Starbucks, but that drink definitely tempts me. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteNow those are cool paint holders. I want to see those ceramic bees. I love bees too, enough so I even have a hive full of them. :) Please show us the finished project once they are done. I only rarely get a cold drink at Starbucks, and this one sounds so good! I hope you're having a super T day Deb. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever storage for your paints. But when you no longer need them they would make excellent bug hotels.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
How great to use the paints to decorate your studio as well as for their real purpose. Lovely hives! I love anything flavored with passionfruit, I guess I need to go to Starbucks. (The only time I go there is on the Ohio Turnpike rest stops! They probably don’t have that anyway.)
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Your paint storage is SO cute and handy. What a creative husband you have!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
The drink looks fabulous, but the paint holders are WONDERFUL! Wow. Makes me want to get more paint, beg my hubby to make something like this for me, etc...LOL. Happy T-day and hugz
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late visiting. I spent time this afternoon in an ice bath trying to help my back I hurt during the neighborhood clean up. Even though I bent with my knees, I felt something go when I stood up.
ReplyDeleteAlthough they take up more storage than mine (which I also store on their sides), your beehives are much prettier, clever, and leave room for adding colors. And you know where each color is, too. Brilliant and creative, Deb.
Half price is always good. Pineapple, passion fruit lemonade sounds wonderful and is a perfect and colorful addition to T, Deb.
Thanks for sharing your beehive paint storage and your lemonade with us for T this Tuesday. And thank you again for the fabulous ATC and card, dear.
Wow Deb, that is the perfect paint holder. How cool that the bank has that sign. Ohhh 1/2 price at Starbucks, yeah how can you pass that up? The flavor sounds so good. Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteWow, great paint-holder, yay to your family!! Happy very belated T-Day.
ReplyDeleteJust love those paint holders. What a wonderful creative hubby you have and your daughter is definitely in the mix of things. I would need about 15 of them for all my paint but then again, I've been painting for over 23 years. Some are probably dried out. I just paint now and again now - too many hobbies, not enough time!
ReplyDeleteDear Deb, these really are PERFECT storage for your craft paints - the busy bee can work well with them.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Starbucks also offers cold fruit drinks - but I only deal with this shop when I go on vacation and "absolutely" need a coffee ;-)
Have a good time!
All the best and Happy T-Day!
Traude
