T stands for.....

...........New Project....  In the pic above i saw these paint chips at Lowe's and the shape of them reminded me of 'houses' but they were long so maybe apartment buildings?? And if i put them 'just so'... it looks like a little city... putting in all the little windows was fun...I tried to shade them.. if you look close i think you can tell.  Then i had a cut out moon from a magazine... and i used Gelatos to color the moon yellowy/orangey... is that a color.. ? I plan on putting it in an altered book...

Aaannnd... One final picture of the honeycomb paint holders actually on the wall and in use.. I really love them... I can't wait for the bees that my daughter found for me to hang around them.. Love, love, LOVE!

I hope everyone has had a spectacular week! I'll be around to visit the Tparty tomorrow! Lastly ... if you made it this far i just have to tell you.... I played in a Golf Tournament yesterday.. my second one... and 'I'!!!!! sunk the winning putt!!! Woot woot!!! Hubby will have to put up with me talking about it for weeks!!!lol I'm still walking on air!! Happy T day~Hugs! deb

  1. Great page and I like the (bit I can see of your) bee-cup!
Your honeycomb paint holders are superb, especially as your Hubby did this!
I think it´s good golfing is very expensive over here. I´d be a danger ;-) Congrats to you, though! And happy T-Day!

  2. Well, I guess you most certainly have learned to play golf!! Congrats!!
I like those cute apartment buildings. Yes, they remind me of apartment buildings. I've lived in enough of them in my life--lol!
LOVE your honeycomb paint holders! They are just glorious!

  4. Your paint holders are SO much more attractive than my two shelves I use. Plus yours are color coded. I try to keep my colors in the right spots, but if I have several out at once, they don't always end up in the same spot on the shelf. Yours are far more functional and decorative, too.

Congrats on your golfing win. SO happy for you.

Lowe's always have the BEST paint chips. I haven't seen this design, but I like how you turned them into apartment buildings with a full moon in the background. Pretty awesome next to your bee mug of coffee, too.

Thanks for sharing your paint chip art, your amazing hive paint holders, your golf win, and your bee coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Deb.

  6. Oh those paint holders are fabulous Deb. They look great on the wall, and they look useful too. It's a very very clever idea. And congrats on the golf tourney. You must also be quite the athlete. I've never played golf but I bet I wouldn't ever come close to even winning a game-smile. I hope you have a super T day and week ahead. hugs-Erika

  13. Dear Deb,
that's THREE wonderful news! First of all, congratulations on your golf success! Sure, your husband will have to live with it ;-DD The honeycomb paint storage is really great, an ingenious storage solution. And when bees are added, it's perfect! Last but not least, I think that your small houses also have a bit of a honeycomb atmosphere - maybe it's the honeylike color scheme or the moon or the small windows. They have a different shape, but the visual impression still matches. Very pretty and well done!
    All the best, Traude
