The GrandLittles are hereeee.... and my goodness our life has been turned upside down and sideways.... ......but in a good way .. you know.. I decided to try my hand at making tutu's for the girls.. It looked simple enough.. I was a little surprised how much tulle it took...
......maybe i'm doing this wrong... ? And the Glitter ... the GLITTER!!! everywhere.. I could not possible recommend the tulle with Glitter.. Its beautiful but i'm sure it won't be long and there will be no Glitter left on the tutu.. wow! The Glitter avalanche is REAL!
But they are looking pretty... And except for the Glitter i'm having fun.. :) I have some fabric roses to sew on ... fun fun.. Then i have a smaller pink and white one to do... Then i will gift them to them when they move to their new apartment... see.. I can be clever... lol
Last looks at Amigo... She really did put on quite a show..
Final finished look at the Bear... I think he came out great.. all refreshed. He is now at his post by the front door..
Last but not least a recycled photo for my ticket to the T party.. Its crazy around here.. We have about 10 more days before things slide back the 'normal' range for hubby and i. But i will do my absolute best to get around and visit everyone! Happy happy T day~ Hugs! deb
Wow, you must really be having fun! Glitter is really pervasive, isn't it?

I can't use glitter! It goes everywhere! Even glitter paper goes all over my house! I have to say I love that "love you to the moon mug." Happy T Day.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be a busy and happy post. All that glitter and tulle. So much fun. I really like your cup and the cup holder. Have a very nice evening.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to have the girls around! But glitter--OMGosh! I swear it multiplies at night once it gets into your home--lol!
ReplyDeleteLove the welcome bear. Turned out great.
The cup--when I hear that saying I always think of the old Honeymooners show..."To the moon, Alice! To the moon!" Opposite meaning. He'd say that to her when they were arguing about something--as if he'd like to punch her to the moon (if he wasn't afraid of her--because she was really the boss of the house). Kind of ruins that saying for me--lol!
So glad you will have the girls around now. Whoohoo!! :) :)
Reminds me of our George Bailey (the Christmas tree I found in the street with a sign that asked to take "him" home). The needles I found years later still - reckon you´ll have as much "fun" or more with that glitter! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe bear is supercute and such a lovely cup - happy T-Day!
You'll be sweeping and vacuuming glitter till this time next year (grin). But I'm sure the grandies will appreciate the tutus.
ReplyDeleteYour amaryllis is definitely putting on a show. Great how your welcome bear turned out.
It may be crazy there, but I bet you are enjoying every minute of it. A recycled cup of coffee is still a welcome addition to T this Tuesday, dear Deb. Have a fun time with your family.
wow sounds like a fun happening at your home. glitter everywhere sounds scary haha does it vacumm up? they will love the tutus for sure. I love your refurished bear and cool mug find Hugs Kathy
DeleteHow wonderful to have your grandlittles to stay and wow, those tutus are amazing despite all the glitter ...lol 😊. I think you are so wise to gift them when they move into their new apartment, less glitter for you to deal with ...lol! Mr. bear looks amazing, loving how he looks like brand new and the welcome that you added to the bottom - perfect! Enjoy the rest of your time with your family and wishing you a very Happy T Tuesday ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThis looks like wonderful fun and with GLITTER! I haven't used glitter for months, but I always find glitter on my art table , perhaps from the fairies. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThose tutus look great. The girlies are going to love them. Per haps their momma not so much when they see all the glitter. You'll never completely get rid of the glitter. But it will remind you of the good times...
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Lisca
The tutus are lovely, but oh all that glitter! I bet that will be around for a while. I have banned glitter from my house, it's just too much to deal with. However, I'm sure your granddaughters will love these tutus. Happy belated T day!
ReplyDeleteDear Deb, I understand you so well - it's wonderful with the grandchildren - and exhausting at the same time. Two girls and a lot of glitter is probably a lot more tiring than a two-year-old boy and a lot of desire for excavators, balls, trains ;-)) (At least they don't glitter 😂) But I love your tutus - and the Littles will, too!!!
ReplyDeleteYour bear looks adorable!
I now say goodbye and start my recently announced blog break 😘 - with one more “last posting before” and warm greetings 🙋 . Stay healthy - we'll read again!
All the best, Traude

Oh yes, the dreaded glitter. I occasionally use it on my cards and every time I do, I'm upset at having it fly all over the desk, the floor and on me....regardless of how careful I am. I bet the grandgirls will love those tutus. Hope this means they are moving closer to you. That would be a blessings - close but not in with!
ReplyDeleteLove your flower and bear too.
Beautiful blog
ReplyDeleteI bet you're still finding glitter in odd places!
